Concrete Lift & Concrete Level Problem Solved!
Concrete Lift & Concrete Level Problem Solved!
Foam leveling involves using a polyurethane foam that's injected under a concrete slab to lift it. The process begins by drilling a small hole, about 3/8 inch in diameter, into the slab. Through this hole, a two-part liquid resin is injected. The resin expands as it reacts, forming foam that lifts the slab. Unlike traditional methods, the pressure of the injection isn't what lifts the slab; it's the expansion of the foam as it hardens.
As the foam expands, it fills any empty spaces beneath the slab and makes the soil beneath denser. This helps stabilize the area and prevent future sinking. The foam expands in all directions, following the easiest path, and cures quickly—sometimes in just 30 minutes. Once cured, the foam doesn't absorb water, won't erode, and remains stable over time.
